This December 2025 marked a significant milestone in the journey of The Centre with the official inauguration of its 45th Cohort, sitting over 200+ participants. The ceremony welcomed a new group of enthusiastic and purpose-driven participants, reaffirming The Centre’s long-standing commitment to capacity building, leadership development, and professional excellence.
The inauguration formally commenced with an opening address delivered by the Executive Director, Pearl P. Tehoda, who warmly welcomed the new cohort and set the tone for the programme. In the address, the Executive Director highlighted The Centre’s mission, core values, and expectations, encouraging participants to fully embrace the opportunities for learning, growth, and transformation that lie ahead.
The address also emphasised that it is not enough to have only the credentials, but also the skills to be able to defend the paper (certificate) obtained, especially from the HRCC
Dr. Jeff Bassay, the Board Chairman, delivered the introductory lecture, offering insightful perspectives on leadership, responsibility, and personal development. The lecture challenged participants to think beyond conventional limits and to approach their journey at The Centre with purpose, integrity, and a strong sense of accountability, where they are able to drive business development as HR professionals.
As the 45th Cohort begins this new chapter, they do so with the guidance of experienced leadership and the support of a strong institutional community. The Centre remains committed to providing an enabling environment that fosters excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
